The opening of the first six hotels and resorts in Accor’s new luxury brand, Place by Compass Group is drawing attention to this daring bet on blockchain technology. The company plans to bring a total of 60 new properties onto its network within the next decade.

Accor’s New Hotels & Resorts Opening in 2022 is a new hotel opening that will be available for the public. The hotel will have a total of 5,000 rooms and is expected to open in 2022.
In 2022, Accor will open more than 300 new hotels and resorts across its brands, including in coveted locations such as London, Doha, and Moscow, as well as more unusual locations such as Tbilisi, Georgia, and AlUla, Saudi Arabia.
The Raffles London at The OWO is set to open later this year in the historic Old War Office, which was formerly home to some of Britain’s most illustrious leaders. There will be 120 rooms and suites, 85 homes, and 11 dining and bar spaces in this architectural masterpiece.

Guiyang Art Centre Hotel is located in Guizhou, China.
The MGallery Issy-les-Moulineaux Domaine de la Reine Margot and welcome Paris Vincennes, both new properties, reinforce Accor’s links to the city, both as its headquarters and as a supporter of the upcoming 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Throughout the year, Europe will welcome twenty-two more new properties.
In North America, the highly anticipated Raffles Boston Back Bay Hotel & Residences will begin welcoming guests this year. The 35-story building offers a sky bar, a three-story sky lobby and a speakeasy, among other attractions. North and Central America will also welcome five others to the Accor portfolio in 2022.
What’s Hot Right Now
The Middle East is another strong area for Accor, with eight new hotels including the beautiful Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha, as well as the elegant Banyan Tree AlUla.
This year, Asia will welcome twenty new Accor-branded hotels, including the palatial Guiyang Art Center Hotel, the first of the new Emblems Collection brand, as well as other notables like the Naru Hotel Seoul by MGallery.
The Sebel Wellington Lower Hutt in New Zealand, which will offer apartment-style accommodations along the Hutt River, and The Porter House Hotel by MGallery in Sydney, Australia, which will combine a new 36-story tower with an original historic building from the 1870s, will both open this year in the Pacific region.
