Carnival Cruise Line celebrated its birthday with a visit to Port Canaveral in Florida, marking the line’s first port of call. The cruise began on May 3 and ended on April 6.

As part of Carnival Cruise Line’s 50th anniversary festivities, the Carnival Miracle makes her maiden port of call. During the cruise line’s maiden Sailabration trip, the Spirit-class cruise ship stopped at Honolulu, Hawaii.
Carnival’s First Sailabration Cruise’s First Call
The inaugural sailabration journey for Carnival Cruise Lines is already underway, with the Carnival Miracle making its first port of call on the first special voyage. The ship stopped at Honolulu, Hawaii, on Saturday as part of the cruise line’s year-long 50th birthday festivities.
Since 2015, Carnival Cruise Line has carried an estimated 75,500 passengers to Honolulu, a key port for west coast cruise operations.
Shipboard commanders gave local authorities from the Port of Honolulu with a celebration birthday cake to celebrate the historic call and remember the festivities.

It’s the first stop on the Carnival Journeys 14-day cruise, which set sail from the Port of Long Beach in California on February 20. The ship also stops at Hawaii’s Maui, Kona, and Hilo, as well as Mexico’s Ensenada.
On March 6, the Carnival Miracle and the Carnival Radiance will meet at sea near Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. For the birthday festivities, this will be the inaugural ship party gathering. A 50th Birthday Bash sailaway celebration, unique entertainment, and even a birthday supper menu will be available aboard in addition to the gathering at sea.
Meetups on Carnival Ships
Through March 10, 2022, a total of 17 Sailabrations voyages will be available, each delivering a distinct festive cruise holiday experience. Carnival Breeze, Carnival Ecstasy, Carnival Glory, Mardi Gras, Carnival Pride, Carnival Sunrise, and Carnival Vista will converge in the Western Caribbean around Cozumel and Costa Maya on March 7.

Carnival Conquest, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Legend, Carnival Liberty, and Carnival Sunshine will join the Carnival Conquest, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Legend, Carnival Liberty, and Carnival Sunshine at sea in the Bahamas on March 9 between Eleuthera and Nassau.
With Carnival Miracle and Carnival Panorama, the last ship rendezvous will take place at sea on March 11 in Baja, Mexico, just outside of Ensenada.

Carnival Cruise Line is having a crucial year since the full fleet will be sailing this summer after a difficult 2020 and 2021. The cruise company hopes to put the epidemic behind them this year and concentrate on celebrating its 50th anniversary.
In November 2022, the second LNG-powered cruise ship, the Carnival Celebration, will make her debut in Miami. When she is formally christened at PortMiami, the vessel will bring the year-long celebrations to a close. Four of the six themed zones aboard were recently disclosed by the cruise company, and many parts of the ship will be influenced by previous Carnival cruise ships.
