The us cruises will be leaving from Miami on its first cruise from Miami.
Virgin Voyages, a company that may have launched a cruise ship at the worst possible moment, is now sailing with guests from her new home.
The adults-only company founded by Sir Richard Branson was set to launch its maiden ship, Scarlet Lady, in April 2020, until the industry was shut down globally a month early.
“After many years in the making, we are delighted to formally launch Scarlet Lady and invite Sailors in the United States onboard for a memorable experience,” said Tom McAplin, president and CEO of Virgin Voyages. Our goal is to offer a refined, but casual, adult-only experience — devoid of formality, where ordinary becomes exceptional — with Michelin-starred cuisine, a great spa, phenomenal on-board entertainment, and an outstanding staff. “This is known as ‘Setting Sail the Virgin Way.’”

Today’s cruise is a four-night “Fire and Sunset Soirees” itinerary that includes stops at Nassau, Bahamas, and Bimini, Bahamas, both of which are new to most passengers.
When Virgin Voyages’ ship docks at Bimini, it collaborated with hospitality firm Resorts World to establish The Beach Club at Bimini, an exclusive venue for its guests.

Massive lagoon-style swimming pools, an enormous beachfront, beachside yoga sessions, locally-inspired cuisine, and a full bar are among the amenities at the resort-style club. Guests may enjoy bonfires on the beach, a DJ-led pool party, and acoustic musical performances in the evening (Virgin’s ships will remain in Bimini until the evening).
The Beach Club in Bimini has a pool.
Scarlet Lady will sail three distinct five-night itineraries from Miami in addition to the four-night cruises: Riviera Maya sailings to Cozumel and Bimini, Mayan Sol journeys to Costa Maya and Bimini, and Dominican Daze cruises to Puerto Plata and Bimini.
Virgin Voyages’ price is more inclusive, with all specialty restaurants, non-alcoholic beverages, non-streaming internet, and gratuities included in the cruise cost.
A tattoo parlor, The Athletic Club adult playground, a record store, nightclub, high-tech theatrical performances, a casino, and numerous pubs and lounges are among the attractions of Scarlet Lady.
There are 1,330 accommodations on board, including 78 RockStar Quarters. These suites include marble bathrooms, fully stocked bars, RockStar Agents (concierge), private transportation, priority booking, and access to Richard’s Rooftop, which is reserved only for RockStar guests.
All passengers must be completely vaccinated before boarding and will be tested at the terminal.
