Odyssey of the Seas Adventures
Odyssey of the Seas is a Quantum-Ultra class ship with a length of 1,139 feet and a gross tonnage of 169,379 tons. This leaves plenty of space on board for incredible excursions, and Odyssey is jam-packed with excitement for guests of all ages and interests.

Thrills from the past
Odyssey of the Seas maintains Royal Caribbean’s heritage of providing daring thrills on every ship in its fleet, including some iconic thrills that have come to be anticipated on many Royal Caribbean ships.
The rock wall was the first thrill given by Royal Caribbean, which debuted in 1999 and was later expanded to every ship in the fleet in 2002. The granite wall on deck 15, on the starboard side of the ship’s funnel, is a colorful climbing challenge.

The wall incorporates many ability levels, allowing climbers of different degrees of expertise – or no experience at all! – to reach new heights and ring the bell at the top, signaling their accomplishment.
The FlowRider is a classic experience that Royal Caribbean initially debuted in 2006 and is now found across the fleet. Guests can catch perfect waves and show off their boogie boarding and surfing talents right on deck with this 40-foot long surfing simulator.
The Odyssey of the Seas FlowRider can be found on deck 16, aft, and provides both free and private surfing instruction (for a fee).
Sky Pad is a more recent Royal Caribbean ship experience that debuted in 2018. Guests may pick between traditional leaping and a high-tech adventure with the VR headset option on this bungee trampoline, which provides both an open-view and a virtual-reality experience.

Sky Pad includes four jump pads to accommodate numerous passengers at once, and visitors may discover the characteristic yellow bubble that encases Sky Pad on deck 16 of the Odyssey of the Seas.
Thrills that are out of this world
The thrills onboard Odyssey have been amplified with many next-level activities that enable visitors to truly soar to the sky!
The ultimate viewing deck, North Star, is only accessible aboard Royal Caribbean’s Quantum-class ships. The North Star pod aboard Odyssey of the Seas is the world’s highest, extending more than 300 feet above sea level – 1.2 degrees higher than the North Star on Spectrum of the Seas and the tallest of any cruise ship in the world.

While the viewing pod moves slowly and softly to accommodate each passenger, the breathtaking vistas it provides are unrivaled. Experiences aboard the North Star vary depending on the ship’s route and whether it is in port or not, and some demand extra payments. Deck 15 provides access to the North Star.
Ripcord by iFly, a skydiving simulator that elevates passengers to unprecedented heights with the direction of an expert skydiving instructor, is available for customers who desire an even more exhilarating perspective.
This trip, which is only available on Quantum-class ships, lasts about a minute in the specially created vertical wind tunnel, but the exhilarating memories last a lifetime. Guests may enter Ripcord by iFly on deck 15, just aft of FlowRider, and observe the wind tunnel on deck 16, just ahead of FlowRider.

Bumper vehicles at the SeaPlex on deck 15 are a must-see for those who want to keep grounded in their experiences. This multi-purpose room is turned into a variety of activities during each trip, ranging from pickleball competitions to soccer shootouts, but the electric bumper cars provide the most excitement.
The thrills of these full-size bumper vehicles aren’t shrunk down simply because they’re aboard a cruise liner. The floor is amply separated, allowing the dozen or so vehicles to achieve peak speeds and violent accidents – make sure your seatbelt is buckled and all items are securely tied! The rides take several minutes and there is no cost to participate in the experience.
