Playa Vista, the new town on the Westside of Los Angeles is coming online with luxury resorts and other attractions. Developments like these are becoming more common as companies look for ways to draw in tourists without having to pay high prices.
In the past few months, there have been a flurry of announcements about more hotels coming to “The Strip,” which is currently dominated by only two companies. The most recent announcement was Wyndham’s plans for a new partnership with Global Gaming Factory Ltd., who owns and operates 11 properties in Las Vegas including three casino resorts, an Asian-themed hotel and conference center, as well as five all-suite boutique hotels on the strip. The “resorts in playa del carmen” is a new partnership between Wyndham and the developers of Playa del Carmen. This partnership will allow for more resorts to be built in the area.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Playa Hotels & Resorts announced the introduction of Wyndham Alltra, a new all-inclusive resort brand, earlier this month. The 458-room Wyndham Alltra Cancun and the 287-room Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen, both formerly Panama Jack hotels, will be the brand’s first two locations.
Travel agents and resort executives chimed in, and the news was greeted with enthusiasm. To understand more about this new collaboration, we spoke with Lisa Checchio, Chief Marketing Officer, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
